Hide attached to the Dumpster Network
The Palacio Viejo de las Corchuelas has a dump for feeding necrophagous birds, part of the Extremadura Regional Government's Dump Network. Inside the dump, you can enjoy the experience of observing and photographing carrion from less than ten meters away.

Fully conditioned
Our HIDE Observatory is fully enclosed, with spyglass and constructed of wood to cushion temperatures and blend in with the surroundings. It has indoor seating and capacity for four people.
Full performance
The HIDE observatory is currently operating at full capacity, as the habit has developed and carrion birds such as the black vulture, the Egyptian vulture, and the griffon vulture come to eat. The black kite and the red kite, among others, also come here, as well as crows, starlings, and wagtails.


Two hours of experience
The price is €180 per room (VAT included), lasts approximately two hours, and includes transportation from the house to the dump (HIDE) and return to the house at the end of the activity.
