Falsterbo Bird Show 2025: All you need to know about Northern Europe’s top birdwatching event

Each September, the skies over Falsterbo (southern Sweden) fill with migrating birds, and so do the meadows with visitors celebrating one of the largest birding events in Scandinavia: the Falsterbo Bird Show.

What is the Falsterbo Bird Show?

An open-air festival for nature lovers, families, and birdwatchers, gathering around 4,000 visitors each year. It combines science, fun, and conservation in a relaxed atmosphere.

Entry and donations

  • Free entrance, no ticket needed.
  • Visitors are encouraged to donate or support conservation efforts by joining the fundraising raffle.
  • All proceeds go to avian conservation projects in Sweden and abroad.
